Explorers children aged 7 - 11 years begin with an opening 'ice-breaker' activity
and a time of teaching.
They then move into small groups to take part in rotated activities which include Bible exploration,
creative prayer, craft, and team games.

A Sunday group for children aged 7-11 years
Explorers meet in the large hall during the 10.30am morning service
Activities include:
- Welcoming 'ice breakers'
- Creative Bible teaching
- Craft
- Theme related games and team challenges
- Small group Bible exploration
- Prayer and sharing
Registration takes place in the cafe area from 10.15am. Parents will be issued with a
'Registered Child Card' for safekeeping and for return when collecting their child at
12.00pm (with the exception of those in year 6 with parental consent to de-register
themselves at the end of each session).
Families then move into the church where an Altogether Time at the start of the service
sets the scene for the children's groups.
Parents are encouraged to sit near the front of the church with their children during the
Altogether Time before accompanying them to their group.
On Holy Communion Services (first Sunday of every month) registration begins at
10.15am and children go to "Outburst!" in the halls at 10.30am
Children are the responsibility of their parents/carers before being
registered into their groups and after collection from them. Please
ensure they are kept safe whilst on the premises by supervising them
before and after sessions.

'Duggie Dug Dug in Concert' - Doug Horley returns to
Christ Church on
Saturday 24 September at 6.00pm – 7.30pm.
A fantastic multi-media celebration for all the family, packed

monthly session of lively praise and worship held on the first Sunday of every
month during Holy Communion at 10.30am.

old girl in Ethiopia who we sponsor
