New Here?

A Warm Welcome

If you are considering visiting a service at Christ Church we would love to meet you. Whoever you are, wherever you’re from; whether you’ve been a Christian for many years, or aren’t sure what you believe, you are very welcome here.

What to Expect

Arrival
On arrival you will be welcomed into a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. You won’t be handed any books on the door and there is no dress code. Just come as you are. ‍

Our Services
Services are informal and contemporary with a band, modern songs and some older hymns. Our main service is at 10.30am. We sing together, hear part of the Bible read aloud and listen to a short talk which helps to explain what it means for us today. You can find out more about our services here.

Holy Communion
On the first Sunday of the month all are invited to come to the front of the church to take bread and wine as part of the service. If you would like to take part but don’t want to receive bread and wine you can choose to receive a prayer of blessing instead.

After the Service

Prayer Ministry
If you would like someone to pray for you about anything at all, members of our team are available every Sunday after the 10.30am service to listen and lift your concerns to God.

Refreshments
Refreshments are served in the cafe area after the service has finished. Please stay for a cup of tea or coffee so that we can get to know one another.

Connect with Others

Alpha
If you would like to know more about Jesus and what the Christian faith is all about then Alpha is the course for you. Join with others who have questions and chat in a relaxed setting over a meal. Find out more here.

Small Groups
Small groups meet together during the week to study the Bible, pray together and enjoy each other’s company. They are a great way to get to know a smaller group of people more deeply and make friends. Find out more about small groups here.
