Youth
Youth Ministry
Here at Christ Church we want to help our young people to grow in their faith in Jesus and support them in becoming whole-life followers of Him.
Pathfinders is an interactive, term-time, Sunday morning group for young people in school years 7-9 who want to deepen their understanding of the Bible and learn more about what it means to follow Christ. At Pathfinders we enjoy an informal and relaxed atmosphere and encourage young people in their discipleship with Bible study, discussion and games.
The young people meet in Church at 10:30am to join the main congregation for worship, and then move across to the Small Hall for group activities after the opening time of worship.
On the first Sunday of the month Pathfinders begins in the Small Hall at 10:30am and the young people will return to join their famlies in Church for Holy Communion part way through the service.
Juice is a session for young people in school years 10-13 who want to deepen their relationship with God. At Juice young people can relax, be themselves, no questions are barred, and make good friends as they hear more about how great God is!
Socials (eg: Nandos, pizza and film nights) run at various times throughout the year.
Juice will meet on the following dates:
Saturday 11th July
Saturday 19th September
Saturday 17th October
BASE is a youth group for young people in school years 7-13. It meets on the first Saturday of each month from 6.30pm to 8pm in the Undercroft of the church.
At BASE we have pizza and snacks, enjoy games such as air hockey, Wii, table tennis, and pool, and have a lot of fun together. Young people are always welcome to bring their friends. Donations to cover the cost of food are very welcome please.
Base will meet on the following dates:
Saturday 4th July
Saturday 5th September
Saturday 3rd October
