Youth Ministry
At Christ Church we want to help our young people to grow in their faith in Jesus and support them in becoming whole-life followers of Him.
Pathfinders is an interactive, term-time, Sunday morning group for young people in school years 7-9 who want to deepen their understanding of the Bible and learn more about what it means to follow Christ. At Pathfinders we enjoy an informal and relaxed atmosphere and sessions contain Bible study, discussion and games.
The young people begin in Church at 10:30am with the main congregation, and then move across to the Small Hall for group activities after the opening time of worship, as directed by the service leader. On the first Sunday of the month Pathfinders begins in the Small Hall at 10:30am, so young people go straight to their groups on arrival, and then return to join their families in Church for Holy Communion later in the service.
Juice is a session for young people in school years 9-13 who want to deepen their relationship with God. It happens on alternate Saturday evenings in the cafe area of the church from 6.45pm - 7.30pm. We have games, drinks and biscuits, and a Bible discussion time, focussing on issues relevant to young people today. Newcomers are very welcome, and young people don’t need to be Christians to come along.
At various points throughout the year we also run social events eg: A trip to Nandos; a pizza and film night etc.

BASE is a youth club for young people in school years 7-13. It meets on the first Saturday of each month in term time from 6.30pm to 8pm in the Undercroft of the church. (The entrance is at the rear of the church building and can be found by walking through the church car park and around to the right). At BASE we have pizza and snacks, and enjoy a selection of games including table football, table tennis, and Wii. We have great fun together and young people are very welcome to bring their friends.
Donations of £1 per person to cover the cost of food are requested please.

Baptism and Confirmation
